Company History
The company is owned and run by the Managing Director, Alvin Ritter.
Having spent several years as a professional pianist, Alvin decided to opt for a career in piano technology, specialising in the tuning, repairing and reconditioning of all types of pianos from beginners' instruments to top quality grand pianos.
After studying for three years full-time in London, Alvin gained four City and Guilds Certificates and the Certificate of Musical Instrument Technology (all available for inspection on request) and in 1977 he founded Albermarle Pianos.
